I was wondering what your stance is on cloth diapering? I have gone through your blog and since im about to have my first child, your blog has help me a lot. But I have been also exploring the cloth diapering scene since it has become very popular. Also with you being into healthy, organic living and such. I thought that it would be something you would be interested in for your next baby. looking forward to your reply :)

I was wondering what your take is on immunizations? I’m currently on the fence about this and my husband feels we should not do it at all. I have almost 6 month twin boys and I have not immunized them. Thus far they have been very healthy and never have they gotten sick. They are still getting breast milk daily, but very little as my supply has gone down dramatically. It’s hard to keep up the demand of two (for me anyway). In any case, I feel so lucky to have come across your blog, as I have found it verrrrry helpful!

  5. So sorry for your loss. We suffered a miscarriage of our daughter on June 17th. I feel your pain. There are no words to help the healing. Only time & love & support from those close to you. God Bless & prayers for you all.

  6. Hey Lisa!
I couldn’t find anywhere on your site to contact you via email. I hope it’s ok I am writing all this on a comment. Super excited to have found your blog! I have met your husband a couple times back in the day when I worked at Hurley Corporate and he would come in. He was always super cool and friendly. I now am a mom of three and have done some styling for cast members on Tyler Perry’s “meet the brown’s” and American Idol contestant David Archuleta. A year ago next month I started a modern mom blog with two other girls. It is going great and is lots of fun and also lots of work :) I am sure you know how that goes. I would love to do a real mom segment on you. Check us out and let me know what you think. http://www.lunchpailsandlipstick.com
Thank you so much for your time!
    Love, Summer

Also- I hope you are doing ok. I am so sorry about your loss. Such a hard thing to go through.

    Hi Lisa,
I love your blog! Do you have any pregnancy/mommy blogs that you follow? Would love to hear your recommendations. I love how you aren’t preachy, advocating that all moms do what they think is right for their babies. At the same time, you give great advice on natural & non-traditional/ non-commercial ways of being a mom. Thanks!

Lisa…in all my searching about my own late term miscarriage, I found your blog. I have been trying to read everything I can about coping, trying again, feeling better. I will be honest, I don’t follow the buzz and honestly had no idea you and Jack were married. I’ve just never been that person. But at 19 weeks delivery, I am not the person to sit around. If you have any resources, book ideas, volunteer ideas… I will take them. We bury our son today….and I am not shy to ask others for help.

So many prayers your way too. I understand how much it hurts, and the grace of having a little girl for the older sister to help with the joy. I understand why you waited, and if its like us, I hope you and Jack have been blessed with an even stronger marriage.

    All the best,

  10. Hi Lisa,
Thank you for being such a real and inspirational voice. I tried your No Carb Flax Seed Bread, but I substituted Baby Brain Organics for the ground flax seed. It turned out amazing! Would it be alright if I sent you some Baby Brain Organics for Pearl? It’s pure goodness for babies – organic ground seeds, full of protein, omega 3s and iron. It can be added to any meal. I use it in my family’s smoothies, pancakes, meatballs, muffins, granola – everything.
Thank you again for your fabulous blog.
All my best to you and your adorable family,
    Amy Brown

Hi Lisa! Any chance your Etsy shop will open in time for christmas shopping? I need to find bracelets as gifts, and since I read what you wrote about gemstones healing abilities I am hoping to find a bracelet in the style you made them. Alternatively maybe you could blog about where to find them? But I really liked yours. Maybe you have a few left in stock? And I need one of the bracelets for stress relief. Can you help me? Thanks :o)

Hi, one of my favourite activities is Flubber. Try youtube for recipe. It should include borax, white glue, water. It will last up to a month and is really good for little ones gaining strength in their handgrip. GreAt precursor activity to holding pencils and scissors. Enjoy! Best of all minimal mess..

I need advice. My 1 year is a picky eater. He won’t chew his food and he stores it in his cheeks like hamster. He’ll eat rice and baby food. But he refuse to eat other food. I just don’t know what to do. Suppose to put him on whole milk already but afraid to cause he doesn’t eat like the food I make. It doesn’t help his grandmother and great grandmother gives him junk food. Anyways I sent you a message on Facebook too.

  16. Hello Lisa, I absolutely love your blog especially creating your own lip gloss made from crayons, who would have thought? I think your blog is refreshing especially coming from a young mommy like myself!
