Something that I often forget to share that I learned from watching the Rachel Ray cooking show years ago is an easy way to quadruple the life of fresh herbs & leafy veggies such as lettuce, kale, and celery.
It is super simple….
Rinse your herbs & pat them dry. Wet & wring out a paper towel. Place the herbs in the damp paper towel.
Wrap the herbs up in the towel, place in a ziplock bag, & put in the fridge!
This will really extend the life of your herbs. I usually get to use my herbs for over a month this way vs. the usual 1 week. You can do this with lettuce, kale & celery too! Enjoy
