Easy 5 Minute Makeup Video!

Lots of people are always asking me how I have time to do my makeup with a baby. When she naps, I do my routine of the 5 minute face! Here is a video of me showing you how I do it, and with what products. Also, below are a list of links to the products I use! Please remember to use ALL DIFFERENT BRUSHES for each type of makeup. Don’t mix them, and wash them regularly. Enjoy xo

  1. Thank you for posting this, your makeup application techniques are pretty easy to learn. For the longest time I kept on messing up my liquid eyeliner application but I just tried your technique and it worked! Keep up the good work, love your tutorials and tips!

  2. Awesome. You make me want to go out and shop. I’d love to hear what your daily routine is for such clear skin. (cleansers/toners/moisturizers/makeup removal etc)

  3. love this make up tutorial and love the product suggestions! would also love a how-to on quickly removing all make up as this is a step I all too often skip when dealing with kids and bedtime. If you have any speedy and easy removal tips I would love to see a video on that too! :)

    • Oil free eye makeup remover, and then Lots of times I just use makeup remover cloths so I can take off my makeup while in bed….I usually wash my face really good and do all my exfoliating in the shower…..it saves time

  4. So I’ve ordered myself the Maestro foundation and a stipple brush! I never spend a lot of time or money on makeup, but have discovered that quality really does matter when it comes to not looking like a blotchy tangerine!

  5. do you have a suggestion of which type of oil free make up remover to use? I use eminence for my skin care. I do the heavy duty cleansing in the shower too, very smart! :) I have just ordered every item on your list, including all the Elf brushes! thank you for all these amazing suggestions!!

    • I love eminence products. so good. if you want a super chemical free eyemakeup remover try this
      2 Tbsp witch hazel
2 Tbsp oil of choice (i’d use olive oil)
      2 Tbsp water (filtered)
mix them together in a bottle and use like you would any eye makeup remover!

  6. Thanks for the simple and healthy creation! I will definitely try that! Have you tried the Eminence herbal eye make up remover? I found it online but have never tried it…sounds fabulous though. And as far as using make up remover cloths to remove excess make up from rest of my face…any suggestions on which ones would be good? Since I have used Eminence for so long now, if I use anything else on my face, it ends up feeling tight. But I would so love a simple removal cloth that would at least take off the make up and not make my skin feel icky…as far as I can see, Eminence do not make any cloths like this. Cheers from rainy & windy Cornwall, England! :)

  7. Hey Lisa,
i just wanted to tell you that it is nearly impossible to read the comments because of the dark background;)Maybe you could change that…

    Love your blog:)

  8. I see that you use elf brushes. Have you used any of their makeup? It’s super cheap and I was just wondering about the quality. Thanks

  9. Hey Lisa, I was wanting to check this video out but it’s not available anymore. I just wanted to let you know this is happening :( unless you actually removed it yourself.

    XOXO from the Dominican Republic!
