Anyway, this post is to urge women to switch to Organic tampons rather than the regular brands. Why? Think about it….If you are a person who eats organic food regularly, and you consider yourself generally healthy, why would you insert chemically altered rayon into your VAGINA (baby maker, uterus, womb, body)? HERE is a great article on the facts of organic tampons vs. regular. If you don’t want to take the time to read it, here are a few of the MANY great points they make:

  1. Ive been using organic tampons since i can remember. Being young changing from pads to tampons i was scared of getting a side effect of using regular tampons. So i went organic. I encourage organic as much as i can.

  2. I’m so glad you made this post! It’s something I never thought about, but you are so right. I know I can just google organic tampons, but do you have a specific brand that you prefer to use and would recommend?

    • I live In Australia so i dont no if the usa stocks them i use organics just the brand name. Toms is quite good. Just need to research and go with the brand that your comfortable with.

  3. i used tampons for along time thinking it was cleaner but really it just hurt or was uncomfortable also i feel like you can understand your flow better when you just let it into a pad also i have tried many pads because a leak is the worst i recomend always infinicil thr best made pad period

  4. I’ve never had babies and at 43 it is unlikely. What you say though is very true. I havent tried tampons since my teens as I just couldnt get on with them. I will definitely be trying organnic sanitary products before I hit the menopause and its too late

  5. I recently bought Puristic’s pads. I found them at Big-Lots (don’t laugh) for only $1 a box and I bought about 6 because the price was amazing. There is no bleach or dioxin (which has been labelled a carcinogen) and other yucky stuff in them and they don’t smell…at all. I’ve been thinking though, what about organic cotton panties too? If they’re not organic, then the cotton was sprayed with pesticides and the resulting cotton product was bleached etc. What about organic toilet paper too? The paper that is commercially sold is bleached and contains chemicals too! I just wish they’d stop with the chemicals and dangerous additives that aren’t necessary already, because it really sucks balls!
